Events are being held for people to find out more about a major plan for how transport on the Fylde coast could be transformed.

Potential developments in Lancashire County Council’s Highways and Transport Masterplan include extending the Blackpool Tramway from the prom at North Pier to Blackpool North railway station and a new junction 2 on the M55 near Preston.

The events will be held at St John the Evangelist Church, Church Street, Blackpool, on January 28 from 2pm to 7pm; Poulton Library, Blackpool Old Road, Poulton, on January 29 from 2pm to 7pm; Fleetwood Library, North Albert Street, Fleetwood, on February 3 from 2pm to 6.45pm; Kirkham Community Centre, Mill Street, Kirkham, on February 4 from 12pm to 6.30pm; and St Annes United Reform Church, St George’s Road, Lytham, on February 11 from 2pm to 7pm.

A consultation will run
until Friday, February 20.
