A community event will be held in order to promote understanding between faiths at Bispham’s Trinity Hospice.
The Fylde Coast Hindu Society has organised a special service, to take place on Thursday, June 11, at 1.30pm, at the hospice on Low Moor Road.
There will be a lighting of a lamp of hope, along with prayers in Hindi and English.
There will also be special chanting to create vibration for peace.
The event – which is open to all – is expected to finish at 2pm.
The idea behind the service is to promote interfaith dialogue and greater understanding between members of the community in general.
