Evans to star at Grand Theatre

Star comedian Lee Evans is to play two shows at Blackpool’s Grand Theatre this summer, The Gazette can reveal.

The funnyman will be appearing on July 11 and 12 as a chance to try out new material for his upcoming Monsters Arena Tour.

The madcap comedian is now one of the UK’s biggest names and holds the record for the country’s biggest ever solo live comedy gig.

The announcement is the latest coup for the Grand Theatre after Jason Manford recently performed two sold out shows at the venue.

Tickets, priced £31.50, which includes the booking fee, go on sale at 9am today. They are limited to six per people.
