How can you resist these big, sparkling green eyes?

Gorgeous George is looking for a new home after being taken in by the RSPCA Animal Centre in November.

The friendly feline is a great addition to a loving home. He is quite a social cat and enjoys human company.

He had lived with another cat before, his brother Joey, who was re-homed from the centre in January.

His exact age isn’t known but he is thought to be aged between four and six.

George has been having some ongoing treatment for his skin. His health is now good and his skin has calmed down, but if it is to flare up once in his new home, the RSPCA would cover the costs of any vet treatment in relation to his skin allergies.

George needs fleaing monthly, which the branch will supply the adopter with, and he must be kept on a hypoallergenic diet.

The RSPCA Animal Centre in Stalmine is hosting an Easter event between 11am and 3pm on Saturday, April 4. It will include lots of fun activities for children, tombola, egg hunt, Easter raffle, a refreshments van and microchipping for animals.

Last week’s pet of the week, Mistletoe the cat, got re-homed, but was then returned due to the owner’s allergies.
