A father and son from Cleveleys are attempting to raise hundreds of pounds for two charities by taking on a gruelling trek.
Mark Sims and his nine-year-old son Hugo will take on the Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge in May, in a bid to raise money for Cancer Research UK and the North West Air Ambulance.
The 24.5 mile trek, which the pair will attempt to complete in under 12 hours, takes in the peaks of Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough, in North Yorkshire.
The pair will set off on their challenge on May 2 this year.
They are aiming to raise more than £300 for the two causes.
