The latest phase of redevelopment work at Myerscough College is under way after a sod cutting ceremony.

Some £2.5m is being invested in the Skills Training and Foundation Learning Centre, set to be built on the Bilsborrow campus by Easter 2014.

The specialist Foundation Learning Centre will be a hub for students with learning difficulties while the Skills Centre is for young people and those not in employment, education or training.
