The Village Nursery, in Lytham Road, South Shore, has kept its Ofsted rating of ‘good’, it was revealed.
Staff at the nursery were praised following an inspection by the education watchdog, while children there were found to ‘display good levels of confidence and self-esteem’, papers showed.
The nursery, which was last inspected in 2012 and has 49 places, has now been urged to improve even further to achieve Ofsted’s top rating of ‘outstanding’.
“The nursery is very well planned with good quality equipment in place, which all children can access independently,” inspector Stephanie Davies’ report said last week.
“This helps support children to have a greater degree of flexibility in their play.
“Additionally, this approach contributes to the good progress children are making in their learning and development.”
