Safely back from an exciting trip to the French Alps TEAM SG skiers have been reflecting on what has been described as “a fantastic week in the sunshine” at 3000m up in the French Alps.

The St George’s CE pupils were taught the basics of the snow sport or had a chance to brush up on their existing skills and spent every day improving their talents on the slopes at La Plagne.

When they weren’t tearing down the ski runs the group was treated to a host of apres ski activities in the popular family resort.

A spokesman for the school said the trip was a success with staff and pupils alike.

He added: “This was our most successful trip so far; the skiers made tremendous progress, the weather was awesome - so much snow in superb condition.

“Well done to all the pupils, something they will remember for a lifetime.

“Thanks also our staff, to the company ‘Ski Bound’ and their representative Teresa who ensured we were well looked after in the hotel and the slopes’
