A Marton nursery has improved its teaching and learning to be rated good by Government inspectors.
Moorevilla Nursery, on Midgeland Road, was praised by Ofsted for ensuring children were “keen, interested learners” in a “stimulating” environment.
The setting, which cares for 93 children, was visited by the inspectorate shortly before Christmas.
> The quality of teaching is good, as staff effectively promote the children’s learning and development through a variety of interesting and challenging activities;
> Children are confident in the nursery environment ... they behave well and become independent characters;
> Children develop secure emotional attachments with adults and progress well;
> And babies delight in the songs and rhymes sung by staff, often spontaneously.
