Moorevilla Nursery, in Midgeland Road, Marton, continues to be ‘good’, Ofsted said.
The education watchdog said managers and staff there ‘have a strong drive to continually improve the quality of service they offer to families’.
Inspectors praised staff for using the environment and resources to help children develop their learning and skills, and said youngsters are ‘confident, happy, and settle quickly’.
To land the top rank of ‘outstanding’, the nursery should focus on giving parents info on what their children can do at home, inspector Denise Farrington said, and correct the pronunciation of older children. The nursery has 110 children on its roll, Ofsted added.
