Education is subject for Rotary

Ian explored what education has meant and means today.

He also outlined the historical development of education in Lancashire, and looked at future developments such as the impact of genetics to eliminate poor intelligence, as well as considering issues including recent legislation.

Ian was thanked for his contributions in the field of education and to the development of many people in the teaching profession, including at least one member of Lytham Rotary Club.
