Easter bunny hunt in Clitheroe

An Easter bunny hunt has started in Clitheroe.

The new president of Clitheroe Chamber of Trade and Commerce, Tony Gould, who runs Party People, has organised the hunt which sees balloon bunnies around town in various shops.

Children taking part need to get an entry form from Party People, Castlegate; The Chocolate Box, King Street; Cupcake Boutique, Swan Courtyard; Megabites, Moor Lane; or Sowerbutts Furnishers, King Street.

Children then go around town trying to find all the bunnies and hand the entry form back into one of the shops mentioned above.

The entry forms that have the correct number of bunnies will go into a draw and the winner will receive a giant chocolate bunny, courtesy of Justin Smalley, from The Chocolate Box.

The competition is free to all schoolchildren and will run until Saturday, April 19th, when there will be an “Easter Eggstavaganza” in the Swan Courtyard.

Entertainment for children will be provided along with face painting and musical activities.

The events are organised by Clitheroe Chamber of Trade with details available from any shop with a balloon bunny, or displaying a poster advertising the events.
