A flight due to depart from Blackpool to Dublin on Sunday was cancelled due to the high winds.
The Aer Lingus flight was due to take off from the resort at 3.20pm, but bosses at Blackpool Airport decided in the morning to cancel it because of the tough weather conditions.
An earlier flight from Dublin, due at Blackpool just before 3pm, was also cancelled.
