A driver was found to be over the alcohol limit when he was stopped because his car was registering as uninsured.
Przemyslaw Adamski was also found with drugs when police arrested and searched him after he was stopped on Squires Gate Lane.
Adamski, 31, of St David’s Road South, St Annes, pleaded guilty to driving with excess alcohol without insurance and possession of cannabis.
He was banned from the road for one year, given a 12-month conditional discharge and fined £110 with £20 victims’ surcharge by Blackpool magistrates.
The case was heard via video-link from Preston Prison where Adamski is currently serving a 26-month sentence imposed on him at Preston Crown Court last week for robbery.
