A man caught with cannabis packages in Blackpool has been sent to jail.
Jack Wibberley, 28, had wraps of cannabis resin and also herbal cannabis, known as ‘skunk’.
The discoveries were made when police pulled over a car Wibberley was driving on Devonshire Road.
Wibberley of Tarbock Road, Huyton, Merseyside was sentenced to 33 weeks prison by a judge at Preston Crown court.
He had pleaded guilty to two offences of having a Class B drug with intent to supply. Jeremy Grout-Smith, prosecuting, said Wibberley was stopped on May 15 last year.
Two bags were found. One contained 24 wraps of cannabis resin, the other, 21 wraps of herbal cannabis. Judge Graham Knowles said: “You were in it for the money.”
