A drug dealer has been jailed for four years after admitting to a string of offences.
Andrew Gregson, 35, of Springfield Road pleaded guilty to seven drugs charges and was sentenced at Preston Crown court on Friday.
Another drugs charge and others relating to prostitution were ordered to lie on file, meaning no further action will be taken.
Police today welcomed the sentence, saying Gregson had targeted vulnerable teenage boys until they had run up a sizeable drugs debt.
Det Insp Gareth Willis, of Blackpool CID, said: “This was brought about as a direct result of communities supplying information to the police and letting us know.
“A number of young men have come forward to give their evidence and I would just like to say how brave they were to do that.”
Gregson pleaded guilty to six charges of offering to supply either class B or C drugs and another charge of being concerned in the supply of a class B drug.
A charge relating to the supply of a class A drug was ordered to lie on file.
Charges of prostitution will also lie on file.
He was jailed for 48 months by a judge at Preston Crown Court.
