Drinks marked the start of weekend film delights
Guests enjoyed a drinks reception to mark the launch of the recent Winter Gardens Film Festival.
The weekend included screenings of classic and contemporary movies – including musicals, spoof horror, silent classics and contemporary comedy, to cater for all tastes.
The three-day celluloid celebration opened with a drinks reception and launch party, as well as a gala screening of 1933 film 42nd Street.

Hide AdThe 1934 production Sing As We Go!, starring Gracie Fields and set in Blackpool, was also among the highlights, along with a cinema in the dark performance of Carnival Of The Souls, followed by a full screening of the film by candlelight.
