Drinkers asked to design pie

The Town House pub on St Annes Road West, is asking regulars to come up with new recipes with the winning pie featuring on the specials menu board.

Pie ideas can be submitted on the own House’s Facebook page.

Competitors must include details of their perfect pastry, meat, vegetable and sauce combination.

The overall winner will bag themselves a £500 cash prize and the title of Greene King’s first official Great British ‘Pastriot’.

Jennifer Whittingham, general manager at the Town House, said: “We are hoping to find pies that are both creative and delicious in equal measure;”
