As well as the main transport exhibits, this year the event will be split into five exciting ‘zones’ to explore giving focus to specific attractions.
Junk Yard Zone will feature at the Memorial Park with a packed agenda of activities including Poetry Takeaway where masters of poetry will convert people’s own stories into poetry on the spot.

Hide AdAt 11.30am and 2pm, catch Acrojou The Wheelhouse – an acrobatic promenade show which unfolds inside and around a circular set, telling a tender post-apocalyptic love story.
Meet Mr and Mr Burn, an explosive, chaotic, offbeat double act with a touch of disaster about them. They can be seen at 12.30 and 2.30pm.
Zones two to four will incorporate the town centre and at the Marine Gardens, there will be a children’s zone, specifically aimed at the under 10s.
See the Last Mermaid Storytelling, circus, drumming and craft workshops throughout the day and theatre act Planes, Trains and Rubber Rings.

Hide AdThe event opens with the morning parade of heritage transport, featuring some superb traditional travelling exhibits.
Starting at 3.30pm, the SpareParts Parade, or ‘Super Scrap Race’, will bring plenty of surprises and will wind its way through the town starting at the North Euston Hotel and finishing at the park.
