It could buy a family of four entry to the Pleasure Beach for the next 30 years, or a football fan’s season ticket to Bloomfield Road for the next two millennia.

But one Fylde coast lottery ticket buyer risks being unable to spend their bonanza unless they come forward to claim a massive £1m prize by Wednesday.

The Euromillions millionaire raffle prize was bought on July 26 last year, and the six month deadline for the claim to be made ceases in six days’ time.

If no-one comes forward with the winning ticket before the prize claim deadline the prize money, plus all of the interest the prize has generated, will go to the National Lottery Good Causes – adding to the £30bn already raised through sales of lottery tickets since The National Lottery launched in November 1994.

A National Lottery spokeswoman said: “This really is a life-changing sum of money and we’re desperate to find this mystery ticket-holder and unite them with their winnings.

“To put it into perspective just how life-changing this prize could be, the winner would be able to buy a huge luxury home on the Fylde coast, their own private yacht or even their very own island in the Bahamas.

“Time is running out so we’re urging everyone who bought a ticket in the area to check their old tickets again or look everywhere a missing ticket could be hiding.

“Check in the pockets of clothing, in wallets, purses and bags, even down the back of the sofa – someone out there could literally be sitting on a fortune.

“We’re ready to pop the Champagne corks and join in the celebrations with this lucky missing millionaire and we have our fingers firmly crossed they come forward to claim their prize soon.”

For every Euromillions line played, UK players automatically receive a unique millionaire raffle selection printed on their ticket. The winning selection for the ticket bought in Blackpool and Fylde for the draw on July 26 2013 was CZZ930051.

Anyone who believes they have the winning ticket for any of the National Lottery draws should call the National Lottery line on 0845 910 0000.
