Decorators' store to open in Blackpool

A regional decorators merchants is to mark the official opening of its Blackpool Branch with circus themed entertainments.

Decor8, which was founded in Accrington in 1985 but which has its Trade Centre and Distribution Depot opened in Bury has unveiled a branch in Dickson Road.

Robert Bowes, Decor8 Fylde’s Branch Manager said: “We are really excited at the opening of our Blackpool store and look forward to providing a first class service to our customers.

“The showroom and depot is looking great and we have all of the top brands, specialists products, accessories and more and we even serve the finest Italian coffee.”

He said more than 6,500 square feet of the store, next to KwiK Fit behind the Imperial Hotel, was devoted to stocking products that professional decorators need and can rely on to get the job done.

He said these included Dulux Trade, Johnsones, Armstead, McPhersons and Leyland Paints as well as many specialist products.

Gary Thompson, Decor8’s managing director said since its inception in 1985 the main focus and direction of the company has been to deliver quality products at affordable prices.

Commenting on the new Blackpool venture he said: “We believe in offering all of our customers a fantastic service with a smile! Whatever their decorating needs we will provide it at a great price.”

The launch event between 11am and 3pm on May 21, will be themed circus style entertainers showcasing unicycles, juggling and more.
