The deadline for entries to the Be Inspired Business Awards, the BIBAs, closes on Friday, with 18 prizes up for grabs to firms and individuals.

Alexandra Wood, of law firm BLM which is sponsoring the awards’ judging sessions, said the second round of interviews which saw BIBAs judges visit their category finalists provided a unique opportunity to applicants.

BLM is an insurance risk and commercial law firm with both a domestic and international focus.

Alexandra said: “Once you have narrowed the field down to the category finalists, you need to go a step further than a face-to-face interview to really understand each business and pick your winner.

"The ‘BIBAs On Tour’ judging provides the panels that opportunity to get under the skin of what makes a firm tick and meet the people behind it, which makes a BIBA such a prestigious award.”

Applicants selected will progress to a round of face-to-face interviews between May 14 and May 24 at the Chamber’s Blackpool offices.
