It was an all singing, all dancing affair at a South Shore care home.

N-Vision’s Princess Alexandra Home, on Bosworth Place, opened its doors for a special fun day for residents, staff, families and supporters of the charity.

An afternoon tea was laid out and crafts made by residents and staff were on sale.

There was also a raffle, tombola with prizes having been donated by residents, staff and families.

Trish Hothersall, administrator, said: “It was a lovely day. The residents had a great time and everyone enjoyed the afternoon tea.

“We have regular activities but it’s nice to do something special like this open day.

“We had music playing so people were up dancing.”
