Dancing the afternoons away
It’s now halfway through the season for the hugely popular Monday afternoon tea dance at Lytham’s Lowther Pavilion.
Each week, amateur dancers take to the floor and trip the light fantastic at the West Beach venue, at the social event organised by the Friends of Lowther Pavilion – as part of the organisation’s fund-raising for the theatre.

Hide AdBlackpool Tower organist Chris Hopkins provides the musical accompaniment – playing all the favourites and taking requests.
The dance starts at 2pm each Monday and refreshments are served during the course of the afternoon.
This current programme will run until November 28.
Tickets cost £5, including refreshments.
