A CYCLIST has been involved in a rush-hour crash on a busy St Annes road.

The crash, involving the cyclist and two cars, happened at around 8am this morning on the mini-roundabout at the junction of Headroomgate and Kilnhouse Road.

Police were reporting that those involved suffered minor injuries.

Commuter traffic faced delays with the road blocked between Heeley Road and Kilnhouse Road, with traffic heading out of St Annes diverted down Heeley Road.

The road is expected to re-open shortly.
