A SEX offender failed to register his address when he moved to Blackpool.

Restaurant worker Michal Mulrzynski, 20, admitted breaching the terms of being on the Sex Offenders Register.

Mulrzynski, of Cromwell Road, Blackpool, had a previous conviction for the same offence.

Tracy Yates, prosecuting, said the Polish born offender was placed on the register after he was convicted of sex offences in the Cambridge area.

Steven Townley, defending, said his client had been arrested several times in Blackpool, but said he was never told about the need for registration by police.

He said: “He has problems with depression, alcohol and self harming.”

Mulrzynski was jailed for 12 weeks.
