A WOMAN flew into a rage after her sea captain husband went all-day drinking.
Tracey Vinyard’s husband fell asleep in a guest room at their bed and breakfast “The Captain’s Cabin” on Cambridge Road, Cleveleys, when he returned.
Vinyard, 48, then started to punch him the face.
He fled and emergency services were called after she set fire to rubbish in the building and threatened to jump from a window. When police tried to get her to safety she bit one officer’s thumb.
Vinyard said her husband refused to help with the business. She smoked cannabis to combat depression.
Vinyard admitted assaulting husband Michael and the officer when she appeared before Blackpool magistrates. She was sentenced to two years’ supervision and told to pay the officer £100 compensation.
