A woman assaulted a neighbour who lived opposite her when they had an argument over a man.

Victoria Lamb pushed and hit the woman neighbour who was going out with the defendant’s former partner. Lamb, 39, of Falkland Avenue, Marton, pleaded guilty to assault.

She was put on 12 months’ supervision, fined £35 and ordered to pay £60 victims’ surcharge by Blackpool magistrates.

Chrissie Hunt, prosecuting, said there was friction between the two women after the neighbour started a relationship with Lamb’s former partner.

Steven Townley, defending, said Lamb said she was taunted by the neighbour over her relationship with the ex. Lamb admitted slapping the neighbour.
