A dog owner has been fined after being found guilty of failing to comply with a noise notice.
Fiona Gray, 48, of Albert Road, St Annes, pleaded not guilty but was found guilty by Blackpool Magistrates’ Court .
The court was presented with evidence from Fylde Council’s environmental protection team.
The court heard a noise abatement notice was first imposed three years ago, after an ealderly neighbour complained Gray’s two dogs were constantly barking.
A series of meetings between Gray and council staff resulted in only temporary peace and quiet – so council staff collected evidence by monitoring noise levels.
Gray was fined £255 and ordered to pay £100 court costs and a £25 victim surcharge.
