DETECTIVES are appealing for witnesses after a man was stabbed in North Shore.
The 29-year-old, from Blackpool, was stabbed three times in the arm, and also suffered stab wounds to one of his hands and legs during an incident at a property on Claremont Road.
The ambulance service notified officers following reports the man had been injured at 9.15pm on Monday.
He was taken to Blackpool Victoria Hospital to be treated for his injuries and was allowed home on Tuesday.
Two people have been arrested on suspicion of wounding.
A 28-year-old man and a 33-year-old man, both from Blackpool, were today being questioned about the incident by detectives.
Det Sgt Nick Connaughton, from Blackpool CID, said: “We are at the early stages of an investigation to establish exactly what happened.
“Officers are checking local CCTV cameras and conducting house to house inquiries to see if they can shed any light on the incident.
“I would appeal to anyone who witnessed what happened or who may have information about this incident to come forward and contact Blackpool CID on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
