Wyre Police said an asphalt laying company has attended a rural farm and a rural small holding and offered to carry out work on their driveways.

PCSO Kirsty Church said: “On both occasions a small amount of work was agreed to be carried out. It was only later, when the owner of the land has returned, they have discovered that the workmen have carried out work to a much larger scale than agreed and have then demanded more money to be paid.
