Urgent appeal launched to find missing Blackpool man

An urgent police appeal has been launched to find a man who went missing from Blackpool.

Gareth Jackson was last seen around 8.15am on Wednesday, February 21 in the Palatine Road area.

Police say the 37 year-old is believed to be driving a grey Citroen Picsasso car with the licence plate BL06 YZM.

Gareth is described as white, of stocky build, with short fair hair. He was wearing a grey t-shirt, grey trousers, a dark woollen jacket and black boots at the time of his disappearance.

PC Nick Trangmar, of Blackpool Police, said: “We are very concerned for Gareth’s welfare and are urging anyone with information about his whereabouts to contact us immediately.

“Furthermore I would urge Gareth, if he sees this appeal, to contact us.”
