URGENT APPEAL: Elderly man missing from Fleetwood

An urgent appeal has been launched by police after an elderly Fleetwood pensioner went missing.

Police say that 82-year-old Robert Harris left an address on Fleetwood Road at around 9:15am on Tuesday, May 8 to visit his bank but did not return.

A police spokesman said: "We are urgently trying to locate an elderly man missing from his home in Fleetwood.

"He is a keen walker and frequently likes to walk through Cleveleys. He also has links to Lincoln.

"If you have seen Robert or know where he is, please call us immediately."

Robert is described as white, around 6ft 1ins with short, grey thinning air, is clean shaven with bushy eyebrows.

He left his house wearing dark waterproof trousers, a grey waterproof jacket, a tweed flat cap and green walking boots. He could be carrying a black rucksack.
