Two men and a teenager accused of stealing property valued at almost £13,000 in a burglary at a Blackpool house have made their first appearance at court.
David Bailey, 20, of no fixed address, Kyle Shaw, also 20 and of no fixed address and a 16-year-old Cleveleys boy, who can not be identified for legal reasons, are accused of taking electrical items, jewellery, watches and cash valued at £12,561 in a burglary at a house on Lytham Road, South Shore, on May 17.
Bailey and the teenager are also accused of stealing property valued at £1,624 in the burglary of a house in Farringdon Avenue, South Shore, on May 17. Bailey is further charged with escaping from custody.
Co-accused, Jessica Wilshaw, 22, of Talbot Road, Blackpool, is alleged to have received stolen watches and electrical items between May 17 and 18.
Jenny Prendergast, prosecuting, asked for the case to be heard at crown court.
Bailey and Shaw were remanded in custody and the other defendants were bailed. Blackpool magistrates sent the case to Preston Crown Court and ordered the defendants to appear there on June 13.
