The 17-year-old victim, understood to be a soldier, was taken to Royal Preston Hospital after being knocked out in the fracas, which happened at around 12.30am on Sunday, July 1.
He is understood to be recovering – after medics at Preston, which specialises in major head injuries, were put on standby for his arrival.
