Three in court after cannabis plants allegedly found at ice cream factory

Three men have appeared in court after cannabis plants were allegedly discovered at an 'ice cream' factory in South Shore.

Police from South Shore Neighbourhood Policing Team carried out a "misuse of drugs" warrant on Thursday, June 14 at the "Old Ice Cream Factory" on Back Palmer Avenue.

Marcin Grochowski, 28, Rafal Kierzekowki, 29 and Pavel Sawala, 35 who are all Polish nationals of no fixed address, appeared at Preston Magistrates Court on Saturday, June 16 charged with the production of cannabis and theft of electricity.

They were all remanded in custody and will appear at Preston Crown Court on July 18.
