Teen’s attack on family members

A teenager has made his first appearance at court after assaulting three members of his family.

Reece McDonough, 19, of Kenilworth Gardens, South Shore, pleaded guilty to three offences of assault.

The court was told that he attacked his mother, step-father and brother, kicking and biting various relatives at the family home on November 14.

Steven Townley, defending, told magistrates: “He returned home apparently under the influence of drugs not prescribed to him and his behaviour was bizarre.

“Kicking and biting were among the allegations.”

McDonough was bailed for pre-sentence reports and will be sentenced at a later date by Blackpool magistrates.

He must live at an address in Primrose Terrace, School Road, South Shore and not contact the victims or go within 100 metres of Kenilworth Gardens.
