A stolen car was discovered submerged in a boating lake in Fleetwood, say police.
Emergency services were called to the scene near Laidleys Walk at around 4am on Wednesday, May 30 after the blue Vauxhall Astra was spotted by members of the public.
An ambulance was called amid concerns that a person may have been in the car, but this was ruled out by police.
Crime scene investigators were pictured near to the scene as emergency workers recovered the vehicle from the lake.
A spokesman for the police said: "We were called to reports that a vehicle had been found submerged in the boating lake at Fleetwood.
"Officers attended and a Vauxhall Astra, later identified as being stolen, was recovered from the water.
"It is believed the vehicle was unoccupied when it entered the water."
Police are investigating.
