A former Premiership football star has been given a police caution following an incident outside a nightclub.
Alex Baptiste, 28, was arrested in July following an incident in which a man lost several teeth.
Baptiste, of Lytham, played a season for Blackpool in the Premier League before he was sold to Bolton Wanderers. He is now on loan at Blackburn Rovers.
After arrest he was granted police bail and on his return to the police station accepted an official caution for assault Lancashire Police confirmed.
Police said that there would be no action taken against a 23-year-old man also arrested after the incident outside the Über Bar, in Poulton.
