A snooker player accused of stabbing another player in the arm at a snooker club has made his first appearance in court.
Daniel Gilding, 32, of Yorkshire Street, Blackpool, is charged with maliciously wounding another man with intent to do him grievous bodily harm on February 12.
Gilding is also accused of possessing a lock-knife as an offensive weapon at the Q Snooker Club, Lytham Road, South Shore, on the same date.
Prosecutors said the case must be heard at crown court.
Defence lawyer Imran Majid did not ask for bail.
Gilding was remanded in custody to appear at Preston Crown Court on March 6 by Blackpool magistrates.
