A search has been launched to track down a woman from Stalmine after she failed to appear in court on drink driving charges, say police.
Tracey Ashton, 31, was arrested in February on suspicion of drink driving and police say she did not attend a court hearing. A "Fail To Appear" warrant has now been issued.
A police spokesman said in an appeal: "We are trying to locate Tracey Ashton and we have been to her home address in Stalmine several times with no reply.
"In February this year Tracey was arrested for drink driving, she subsequently failed to appear at Court.
"As such, the Court saw fit to issue a Fail To Appear warrant; (with no bail) for her arrest to present her before the Court for sentencing.
"She is currently allowed to continue driving and we need to locate Tracey."
