A sales representative who is accused of the multiple rape of a teenage girl at Lytham has made his first appearance at court.
Andrew Griffiths, 33, of Dobson Avenue, St Annes, is charged with seven offences of raping a 14-year-old girl.
The court was told the girl, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, was now pregnant with his child.
The offences are alleged to have taken place in Lytham last year.
Alison Quanbrough, prosecuting, asked for the case to be heard at crown court.
Defence lawyer Gerry Coyle did not make an application for bail for his client.
Griffiths was remanded in custody to appear at Preston Crown Court on April 1 by Blackpool magistrates.
