Reward offer to stop fly-tippers
Anchorsholme councillors Tony Williams and Paul Galley are offering the £100 cash incentive after a spate of incidents.
This week The Gazette revealed how 600kg of deadly asbestos had been dumped on a residential street off Sevenoaks Drive.

“Like every other ward in Blackpool, Anchorsholme suffers from mindless fly tipping and the authorities are finding it difficult to catch and prosecute a great many of these offenders,” said Coun Williams
“It’s not just cowboy builders to blame, some irresponsible residents are also dumping rubbish in back alleys rather than take it to the tip.
“This has to stop.”
Coun Galley and Coun Williams believe that the public are vital in stopping rogue tippers.
