Two thugs kicked a reveller in the face before stealing his wallet and gold ring.

The duo’s 27-year-old victim suffered bruising and swelling after being punched to the ground and booted, in what police described as a ‘nasty’ attack.

Officers have now released CCTV images of two men they want to speak to about the robbery, which happened close to the walk-in centre on Whitegate Drive, at 4am on Saturday, July 16.

PC Lee Kelly, from Blackpool CID, said: “This was a nasty attack on a man who was making his way home from a night out and, as a result of our CCTV enquiries, we have identified two men we would like to speak to.”

Anybody with information can call police on 101, quoting reference number WA1610617.
