A MAN who found himself homeless after being released from prison has asked to go back to jail.

Kieran Blows had his wish granted by magistrates in Blackpool after they jailed him for 28 days for a “flagrant” breach of a court order.

Blows, 20, of no fixed address, admitted breaching a supervision order after being released from custody.

The court heard he had been released on licence on January 18, on conditions which included living at an address approved by his probation office.

But he subsequently missed an assessment for a hostel place in Lytham, missed an appointment with his probation officer and was found to be homeless.

Patrick Nelligan, defending, said: “His instructions to me are the best place for him to go is back to prison as he has nowhere to stay.”
