Poppy Appeal box stolen before parade

Police are today appealing for information after a Poppy Appeal charity box was stolen – directly opposite where a Remembrance Day parade took place the following day.

Police in Lytham are appealing for any one with information about the incident to come forward.

The charity box was taken from Lytham Kitchens, on Market Square, Lytham, on the afternoon of Saturday, November 9.

Police released the information yesterday in a bid to bring forward any witnesses.

It happened the day before the Remembrance Sunday parade, the service for which was conducted directly opposite the cafe.
