Police respond to 'sudden death' of a woman in her early 20s in Fleetwood

Police were called to the home in Addison Road, near the junction with Belmont Road, shortly before 11am on Saturday (April 11).

On arrival, officers discovered the body of a woman in her early 20s.

CSI officers attended the home to establish the cause of death, which is not being treated as suspicious.

A police spokesman said: "We were called at around 10.55am on April 11 to reports of a sudden death at an address on Addison Road, Fleetwood.

"We attended and sadly found the body of a woman in her 20s.

"There are not thought to be any suspicious circumstances.

"Our thoughts are very much with her friends and family at this time."
