Police raid uncovers cannabis farm at resort home

Officers carried out a warrant at a property on Withnell Road, South Shore, where they found the cannabis farm, on Monday.

Police said eight plants were recovered from the address following the raid, at around 3pm.

In a Facebook post, officers said it was ‘a great little result’ for the Waterloo neighbourhood policing team.

A Lancashire Police spokesman said: “At around 3pm on Monday, officers discovered eight cannabis plants at an address on Withnell Road, Blackpool.”

The spokesman said a 23-year-old man was due to attend the police station voluntarily where he would be interviewed by officers ‘in due course’.
