Police want to speak to this woman, who they believe witnessed a Bangladeshi teen being racially abused.

Officers say they are particularly keen to speak to a woman they believe may have witnessed the incident as the bus passed Sainsbury’s on Talbot Road.

It is thought the victim was racially abused by the youths, who got off the bus at a stop close to Blackpool and the Fylde College, on February 28.

Police hunting the offender have now released a CCTV image of the woman they believe witnessed the incident. There is no suggestion she was involved.

PCSO Joe Isaacs, of Blackpool Police, said: “We are keen to speak to the woman in the CCTV, or anyone else that may have been travelling on the bus at the time and witnessed the incident.

“Any information that you have could help us with our enquiries.”

Anyone with information should call police on 101.
