Police investigation underway after 'deliberate' garden fire spreads to property
Fire crews from Blackpool were called out on Saturday evening (February 17) due to a spreading rear garden fire.
Firefighers arrived on the scene at home in Furlong Crescent at 6:26pm to find that the fire involved a detached garden shed, which was well alight and had spread to the property.
Two firefighters wore breathing apparatus and use a hose reel and ventilation unit to extinguish the fire.
The fire itself is thought to have been caused deliberately and an investigation alongside police is now underway.
